Summary: "Arrived slightly damaged"

I brought this book from Amazon new. It came a day early, which was awesome because I need the book for my class, but when I opened the box some of the pages were bent back and slightly ripped. It wasn't so bad that I felt I had to return the book, especially since my classes are starting, but It was highly upsetting to open my box to find a book that was supposed to be in perfect condition, damaged to a noticeable extent.

Got the book when it was raining...why is that relevant? b/c the book arrived 25% wet (all around the edges). Wasn't too happy considering the hefty price I paid. imo, when you pay this much for a book it should be wrapped in plastic...even if it's a grocery bag.

Summary: "Review a Textbook?"

OK So, how do you review a *required* textbook?

You really can't... It could stink and you'd still have to have it for the class.

Period...


But, I will say this, we got it in a timely manner after the College Book Store *never* got my daughters copy in for her class.

Probably saved the course for her. No thanks to the College Book Store which almost cost her the class!
